Blog is about a remote village in Bush Karints area of Southern Highlands Province. Located on the border of SHP and Enga Provinces,the people here speak Enga's dialect (Pii) and Mendi's Karintz (Angal)dialects. Though its very remote away from the main centers,its naturally blessed with dense forest and icy cold water steams with abundance of rainbow trouts with varieties of wild animals which are source of protein. Pandanus Nut (Karuka) Season
Most part of Bush Karints, Upper Mendi, highway Karints, Kandep and Laiagam-Porgera enjoy the season of Pandanus nut season. They have plenty on their plate during that time. Below is a photography display of these nut.
